 झिम्मा'ची सिनेमागृहात पंच्याहत्तरी

लॉकडाऊन नंतर संपूर्ण महाराष्ट्रात आणि भारतात प्रदर्शित झालेला 'झिम्मा' हा पहिलाच मोठा मराठी चित्रपट आहे. या शर्यतीत बॉलिवुडचेही अनेक सिनेमे असताना देखील ‘झिम्मा' ने आपली घोडदौड कायम ठेवली. गेले अडीच महिने ९१ टक्के प्रेक्षकांची पसंती मिळवत महाराष्ट्राचा नंबर एक चित्रपट असल्याचा मान 'झिम्मा'ने पटकावला आहे. आजही अनेक सिनेमे प्रदर्शित होत असताना ‘झिम्मा'ने आपला रेकॉर्ड कायम ठेवला आहे. सोशल मिडीयावरही 'झिम्मा'च्या लोकप्रियतेबद्दल अद्यापही चर्चा सुरु आहे आणि आता बघता बघता या चित्रपटाने सिनेमागृहात ७५ दिवस साजरे केले आहेत.

    

      हेमंत ढोमे दिग्दर्शित ‘चलचित्र कंपनी' प्रस्तुत 'अमेय विनोद खोपकर एंटरटेनमेंट' आणि 'क्रेझी फ्यू फिल्म्स' निर्मित 'झिम्मा' १९ नोव्हेंबर २०२१ ला प्रदर्शित झाला.  एका दिवशी एकाच चित्रपटगृहात सलग अठरा खेळ हाऊसफुल्ल करण्याचा अनोखा विक्रम या चित्रपटाने केला. प्रेक्षकांसह समीक्षकांची मने जिंकणारा हा आशयघन चित्रपट तिसऱ्या आठवड्यात आधीपेक्षा जास्त शोज मिळवून सुपरडुपर हिट ठरला. जगभरात ६० पेक्षा जास्त शहरांमध्ये प्रदर्शित झाला. झिम्माने आपल्या ५० व्या दिवशी महाराष्ट्रात ९० पेक्षा जास्त चित्रपटगृहांमध्ये राहुन आपला गौरवशाली ५० दिवस साजरा करण्याचा रेकॉर्ड बनवला. कोविड काळात पन्नास टक्के आसन क्षमता असतानाही प्रेक्षकांना सिनेमागृहात आणून १४. ५० करोडची कमाई करणारा हा ब्लॉकबस्टर चित्रपट आजही सिनेमागृहात प्रेक्षकांची मनं जिंकत आहे. हा सिनेमा काही दिवसांपूर्वी ओटीटीवर प्रदर्शित झाला असला तरीही चित्रपटगृहात जाऊन 'झिम्मा' पाहणारा प्रेक्षकवर्गही कायम आहे. ॲमेझॉन प्राईम इंडियावर भारतातील पहिल्या पाच चित्रपटांमध्ये झळकण्याचा बहुमान पटकावला आहे.

महाराष्ट्रातल्या महिलांनी या चित्रपटाला अक्षरशः डोक्यावर घेतले. अनेकींनी ‘झिम्मा' पासुन प्रेरित होऊन सहलींचे आयोजनही केले आणि सोशल मीडियाच्या माध्यमातून आपल्या सहलींचे फोटोज ‘झिम्मा'च्या टीमपर्यंत पोहोचवले. प्रेक्षकांकडून मिळणाऱ्या प्रतिसादामुळे आणि प्रेमामुळे आज झिम्माने अमृतोत्सवापर्यंत मजल मारली. इतकेच नाही तर मराठी चित्रपटांसाठी चित्रपटगृहांची दारेही पुन्हा उघडली. सलग ११ आठवडे प्रेक्षकांच्या मनावर अधिराज्य गाजवणारा हा चित्रपट आता केवळ चित्रपट राहिला नसून तो आता एक सोहळा झाला आहे.

     'झिम्मा' चित्रपटात सिद्धार्थ चांदेकर, निर्मिती सावंत, सुहास जोशी, सुचित्रा बांदेकर, क्षिती जोग, सोनाली कुलकर्णी, सायली संजीव, मृण्मयी गोडबोले यांच्या प्रमुख भूमिका आहेत. तर चित्रपटाच्या लेखनाची धुरा इरावती कर्णिक यांनी सांभाळली असून संगीत अमितराज यांनी केले आहे. क्षिती जोग यांच्यासोबत स्वाती खोपकर, अजिंक्य ढमाळ, विराज गवस, उर्फी काझमी, सनी शाह यांनी या चित्रपटाची निर्मिती केली आहे.

     'झिम्मा' च्या यशाबद्दल दिग्दर्शक हेमंत ढोमे म्हणतात, 'झिम्मा'ला प्रेक्षकांकडून मिळत असलेले प्रेम पाहून माझ्या मनात आज अनेक भावना आहेत. 'झिम्मा' प्रेक्षकांसाठी जशी रोलरकोस्टर राईड होती, तशी अनेक कारणांमुळे ती माझ्यासाठीही होती. मागील दोन वर्षांत अनेक वेळा प्रदर्शनाच्या तारखा बदलाव्या लागल्या होत्या, अनेक अडचणी आल्या तरीही बऱ्याच प्रतिक्षेनंतर सिनेमा चित्रपटगृहात प्रदर्शित झाला. पहिल्या दिवसापासून पंचाहत्तर दिवसांचा हा यशस्वी प्रवास तमाम प्रेक्षकांमुळेच शक्य झाला असे मी म्हणेन. रसिक प्रेक्षकांचे मनापासून आभार. 

झिम्मा पार्ट २ येणार का? या प्रश्नाला मात्र त्यांनी हसरा चेहरा ठेवत काहीही बोलण्याचं टाळलंय. त्यामुळे झिम्मा २ प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला येणार का यासाठी थोडी वाट बघावी लागणार आहे.

   प्रेक्षक ज्याची आतुरतेने वाट पाहात होते तो क्षण अखेर जवळ आला असून 'लोच्या झाला रे' चित्रपटाचा ट्रेलर दणक्यात लाँच करण्यात आला.  या सोहळ्याला  अंकुश चौधरी, सिद्धार्थ जाधव, वैदेही परशुरामी, रेशम टीपणीस यांच्यासह चित्रपटाची संपूर्ण टीम उपस्थित होती. याव्यतिरिक्त या चित्रपटात सयाजी शिंदे, विजय पाटकर, प्रसाद खांडेकर यांच्याही प्रमुख भूमिका आहेत. ‘लोच्या झाला रे’ ४ फेब्रुवारीला चित्रपटगृहात प्रदर्शित होणार असून प्रेक्षकांसोबतच कलाकारही चित्रपट प्रदर्शनासाठी अतिशय उत्सुक आहे. 

सुरेश जयराम यांच्या नाटकावर आधारित  'लोच्या झाला रे'मध्ये सयाजी शिंदे यांचा भाचा, अंकुश चौधरीच्या बायकोला भेटायला लंडनला येतात आणि तिथूनच सगळा लोच्या व्हायला सुरुवात होते. चित्रपटात वैदेही परशुरामी नेमकी अंकुशची बायको आहे का सिद्धार्थची? याबाबत झालेला गोंधळ आपल्याला यात पाहायला मिळत आहे. या सगळ्या गोंधळात  इतर कलाकारांचाही सहभाग असल्याचे आपल्याला ट्रेलरमध्ये  पाहायला मिळत आहे. या सगळ्या धावपळीत नक्की कोणाच्या आयुष्यात लोच्या होतोय, या सगळ्याची उत्तरे आपल्याला चित्रपट पाहिल्यावरच मिळतील . 

  चित्रपटाबद्दल मुंबई मुव्ही स्टुडिओजचे नवीन चंद्रा म्हणतात, ‘’लोच्या झाला रे आमचा पहिला मराठी चित्रपट असून आम्ही सर्वच खूप उत्सुक आहोत. या चित्रपटासाठी आम्ही अनेक गोष्टी करत आहोत. प्रेक्षकांची चित्रपटाबद्दलची उत्सुकता पाहता, त्यांच्या सोयीसाठी बुक माय शोवर आम्ही दोन आठवडे आधीच शो बुकिंग उपलब्ध करत आहोत. हे पहिल्यांदाच कुठल्या मराठी चित्रपटाबाबत घडत असेल. चित्रपटात सगळे कसलेले कलाकार आहेत. प्रेक्षक हा कौटुंबिक धमाल चित्रपट नक्कीच एन्यॅाय करतील.’’

   दिग्दर्शक पारितोष पेंटर म्हणतात, ‘’ हा चित्रपट माझ्यासाठी फार जवळचा आहे, कारण या चित्रपटाच्या निमित्ताने मी दिग्दर्शक म्हणून पदार्पण करीत आहे. तसेच या चित्रपटासाठी मला तगडी स्टारकास्ट लाभली असून आम्ही ऑनस्क्रिन तुफान धमाल केली आहे आणि तशीच धमाल ऑफस्क्रिनही केली आहे. हे सगळं माझ्या कायम आठवणीत राहिल. एक गोड आठवण मला तुम्हाला सांगाविशी वाटते. सयाजी सरांनी चित्रीकरणादरम्यान स्वतः स्वयंपाक बनवण्याचा प्रयत्न केला आणि आम्ही सर्वांनीच त्याचा आस्वाद घेतला. आमची ही पडद्यामागील मैत्री, प्रेम, केमिस्ट्री तुम्हाला पडद्यावर पाहायला मिळेल, अशी अपेक्षा आहे.’’

    पारितोष पेंटर आणि रवी अधिकारी यांनी   'लोच्या झाला रे' या चित्रपटाचे दिग्दर्शन  केले असून छायाचित्रणाची धुरा संजय मेमाणे यांनी  सांभाळली आहे. नवीन चंद्रा, नितीन केणी, पारितोष पेंटर आणि शांताराम मनवे यांनी चित्रपटाची निर्मिती केली आहे तर मंगेश रामचंद्र जगताप कार्यकारी निर्माता आहेत . लंडनमध्ये चित्रित झालेला हा चित्रपट मुंबई मुव्ही स्टुडिओज प्रस्तुत आयडिया दि एंटरटेनमेंट कंपनी आणि अभिनय मुंबई प्रोडक्शन अंतर्गत बनवण्यात आला असून वितरणाचे काम यूएफओ मुव्हीझने पाहिले आहे.

काकस्पर्श आणि नटसम्राट यांसारख्या दर्जेदार कलाकृतींनंतर दिग्दर्शक महेश मांजरेकर व झी स्टुडिओजचा बहुचर्चित चित्रपट 'पांघरुण' प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला येण्यास सज्ज झाला आहे. यापूर्वी प्रेक्षकांचा टीझरलाही भरभरून प्रतिसाद लाभला होता. चित्रपटातील गाण्यांचेही संगीतप्रेमींकडून भरभरून कौतुक होत असतानाच आता 'पांघरूण'चा ट्रेलर प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला आला आहे. त्यामुळे आता 'पांघरूण'विषयीची उत्सुकता अधिकच शिगेला पोहोचली आहे. मुळात महेश मांजरेकर हे नेहमीच असामान्य विषय हाताळतात. त्यातही काकस्पर्श, नटसम्राट यांसारख्या दर्जेदार चित्रपटांची निर्मिती करण्यात त्यांचा हातखंड आहे. त्यापैकीच अनेक वर्षांनी घडणारा ‘पांघरूण’ हा चित्रपट. हा एक चित्रपट नसून ही एक कलाकृती आहे, जी प्रेक्षकांना नक्कीच भावेल.

'पांघरूण'चे संगीत सुद्धा उत्तम झाले आहे. आता हळूहळू अनेक मराठी सिनेमे प्रदर्शित होऊ लागले  आहेत आणि मराठी प्रेक्षक चित्रपटगृहात जाऊन चित्रपट पाहत आहेत, त्यांच्या या प्रेमामुळेच आम्हाला प्रोत्साहन मिळते. प्रेक्षकांनी आजवर ज्याप्रमाणे माझ्या इतर चित्रपटांवर प्रेम केले तसेच प्रेम 'पांघरूण'वरही करतील, याची खात्री आहे.

Jointly Designed an Industry First Certification Course on Electric Vehicles

 

Mumbai, January 20, 2022: Liberty General Insurance, one of the fastest growing General Insurance companies in India recently partnered with the National Insurance Academy (NIA), an institution of global eminence in the field of insurance education, learning and research to design an Industry first and innovative certification course on Electric Vehicles (EVs) for Liberty’s Claims Team.

In the present market scenario, electric vehicle segment is starting to find its feet and is expected to capture a considerable market share in the private vehicle segment. Consequently, the surge in demand for the electric vehicles will be followed by motor insurance for the same. It is thus imperative to have an in-depth knowledge of the new segment to offer better claim service to the Insurance buyers.

Considering the changing market trends, Liberty General Insurance is facilitating this training for its claims team to provide deeper knowledge of electric vehicle components, impact on vehicles in case of an accident, loss due to natural events and precautions to be followed during repair of the vehicle so that Claims can be managed efficiently considering the very different mechanical structure/components of EVs vis-à-vis the traditional IC Engine vehicles. Industry experts believe that as consumer become more aware about the advantages of Electric Vehicles, the demand for electric vehicles may see a considerable growth in the coming years. In the last few years, EVs have emerged as the bellwether for the clean energy initiative because of the low or zero emissions and quickly established themselves as a vital part of the OEM (original equipment manufacturer) business strategies. Currently, such vehicles come at a slightly premium price compared to regular fuel-run vehicles. However, electric vehicles offer their own set of advantages including lower operational cost, minimal pollution, and savings on fuel prices.

बॅालिवूड, मराठी चित्रपटांच्या प्रदर्शनांची रांग लागलेली असतानाच आता लवकरच आणखी एक जबरदस्त मराठी चित्रपट लवकरच प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला येणार आहे. ‘विशू’ असे या चित्रपटाचे नाव असून गश्मीर महाजनी विशूच्या भूमिकेत दिसणार आहे. या चित्रपटाचे टिझर पोस्टर नुकतेच सोशल मीडियावर प्रदर्शित करण्यात आले. बाबू कृष्णा भोईर निर्मित या चित्रपटाचे दिग्दर्शन मयूर मधुकर शिंदे यांनी केले आहे.  चित्रपटातील नायक ‘विशू’ निसर्गरम्य अशा कोकणातील समुद्रात, निरभ्र आकाशाखाली, बोटीवर मंद लाटांच्या हेलकाव्यात पहुडलेला दिसत आहे. त्याच्या मनात नक्की कोणते वादळ सुरु आहे, हे जाणून घेण्यासाठी मात्र १ एप्रिलपर्यंत वाट पाहावी लागणार आहे. एक अनोखी प्रेमकथा असणाऱ्या या चित्रपटात गश्मीरसोबत मृण्मयी गोडबोल, ऐताशा संझगिरी, मानसी मोहिले, मिलिंद पाठक, विजय निकम, संजय गुरबक्शानी अशी तगडी स्टारकास्ट आहे. 

     चित्रपटाचे दिग्दर्शक मयूर मधुकर शिंदे म्हणतात, ‘’या चित्रपटाच्या प्रदर्शनासाठी मी खूपच उत्सुक आहे. गश्मीर, मृण्मयी बरोबरच विशूमधील सगळ्याच कलाकारांसोबत काम करताना खूप मजा आली. मुळात हे सगळेच कसलेले कलाकार आहेत. दोन परस्परविरोधी स्वभाव जेव्हा एकत्र येतात तेव्हा काय होते, हे एका गोड प्रेमकहाणीमधून दाखवण्याचा प्रयत्न ‘विशू’मधून करण्यात आला आहे. मला खात्री आहे, हा चित्रपट नक्कीच प्रेक्षकांच्या पसंतीस उतरेल.’’

Mumbai, 11th January 2022: FEDERAL BANK has launched an online lending platform titled federalinstaloans.com  to facilitate quick and hassle-free credit approvals for Micro, Small & Medium enterprises (MSME) across India. The platform enables MSME borrowers to avail loans in less than 30 minutes digitally by uploading their income tax returns, Bank account statement & online verification of GST details. Eligible borrowers can avail up to Rs.50,00,000/- (Rupees Fifty Lakh only) through the platform at present.  

The platform uses sophisticated algorithms to read and analyse data points from various sources such as IT returns, GST data, bank statements, Credit Bureau, all in less than 30 minutes capturing the borrower’s basic details using smart analytics. Most importantly, clients can avail business loan approvals from the comfort of their home without visiting the Bank’s branches. Data entry by the client is kept minimal, as majority of the details are auto populated from the uploaded documents, i.e., GST, ITR & Bank account statements.

After a suitable product is identified for the borrower in the platform, in-principle offer letter will be issued. Loan will be made available after the documentation process gets completed. For completing the documentation, borrower needs to visit the bank branch. Borrower also has the liberty to choose his Federal Bank branch while applying for the loan approval.

This facility is yet another addition to the innovative digital offerings by the Bank, whose guiding philosophy is ‘Digital at the Fore and Human at the Core’.

Waaree Energies Ltd, country's largest solar module manufacturer & fastest growing EPC Company with presence across 68 countries has received approval from markets regulator Sebi to launch its initial public offering (IPO).

In September, the company had filed draft papers with Sebi. The IPO comprises fresh issue of shares worth Rs 1350 crore, and an offer for sale up to 4,007,500 equity shares by the company's promoters and existing shareholders.

The offer for sale (OFS) consist of sale of up to 1,315,000 equity shares by Hitesh Chimanlal Doshi, up to 1,315,000 equity shares by Virenkumar Chimanlal Doshi and up to 1,315,000 equity shares by Mahavir Thermoequip Private Limited; up to 40,000 shares by Samir Surendra Shah; and up to 22,500 shares by Nilesh Gandhi.

Additionally, the company, in consultation with the lead bankers to the issue may consider a further issue of equity shares including a preferential issue aggregating up to Rs 270 crore. If such placement is completed, the fresh issue size will be reduced.

Proceeds of the issue will be used to the extent of Rs 910.31 crore for the solar cell manufacturing unit and Rs 141.24 crore will be used for solar module facility. The remaining proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.

Waaree Energies is one of the major players in the solar energy industry in India focused on Photo-voltaic (PV) module manufacturing, with an aggregate installed capacity of 2 GW as of March 2021. It currently operates three manufacturing facilities comprising four factories in India at Surat, Tumb and Nandigram.

Led by Chairman, Managing Director and Pomoters, Hitesh Chimanlal Doshi who has over 21 years of experience in the engineering industry. The company is also in the process of setting up another manufacturing facility at Chikhli, Gujarat, where it is implementing its capacity expansion plans for PV modules as well as setting up of facilities for backward integration into solar cell manufacturing.  Yarn Manufacturer, Sanathan Textiles files for IPO, to raise 1300 crs

Mumbai-based Sanathan Textiles, one of the few companies in India with presence across the polyester, cotton and technical textile sectors has filed its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with the market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to raise funds through an Initial Public Offering (IPO). The shares of the company are proposed to be listed on NSE and BSE.

As per market sources, the issue size will be in the range of Rs 1200-1300 crore.

The Yarn manufacturer plans to raise funds via Initial Public Offering which comprises of fresh issue of equity shares aggregating up to Rs 500 crore (The “Fresh Issue”) and an offer for sale of up to 11,400,000 equity shares (The “Offer for Sale”) by Dattani Family.

Additionally, the company, in consultation with the lead bankers to the issue may consider a pre-IPO placement of equity shares aggregating up to Rs 100 crore.

Proceeds from the fresh issuance of shares will be used to extent of Rs 325 crore to repay/prepay in full or part, of certain borrowings availed by the company, Rs 65 crore for funding working capital requirements besides general corporate purposes.

Sanathan Textiles Limited was incorporated in 2005. Dattani family, the promoters of Sanathan, have more than 100 years of cumulative experience in the yarn industry, the company enjoys a rich legacy and history passed on by promoters.

Its business is divided into three separate yarn business verticals, consisting of Polyester yarn products; Cotton yarn products; and Yarns for technical textiles and industrial uses, manufactured at its Silvassa facility.

Over the years, the company has scaled up its yarn production with a total capacity from 4,500 MTPA in 2006 to 221,050 metric ton per annum (MTPA) in 2021 supplying across a broad spectrum of industries such as apparels including sportswear, activewear and innerwear, home textiles, travel and leisure (luggage, suitcases, parachutes, etc.), medical usages, automobiles, etc. Sanathan also has a high share of value added products which contributed 52.16% of the revenues for the six months period ended September 30, 2021. As on September 2021, they manufacture more than 12,900 varieties of yarn products with more than 100,000 SKUs.

The company caters to a number of multinational, regional and local companies such as Arvind Ltd, Trident Ltd, Welspun India Ltd, Page Industries Ltd, D’décor Home Fabrics Pvt Ltd and also to other companies including Creative Group, Ascent Yarns and Paragon which in turn cater to consumer brands like DKNY, Calvin Klein, Zara, US Polo Association, Adidas, Nike, H&M, Levis, Uniqlo and many more.

Looking at the growth in demand for recycled yarn, STL recently introduced a recycled polyester yarn product vertical which is marketed under the brand “Reviro”. It uses chips made from waste plastic bottles and then into yarn for fabrics.

Sanathan Textiles recorded a profit of Rs 185.63 crore on revenue of Rs 1,918.36 crore for FY21 which had impact of lockdown during April-June 2020, and clocked a profit of Rs 170.78 crore on revenue of Rs 1,438.88 crore for the six month ended September 2021. Company had a healthy return on equity (RoE) of 29.42% for FY21.

 

India is the largest producer of cotton and second largest manufacturer of polyester yarn in the world. The country’s textile and apparel market which is estimated to Rs. 8,153 billion during fiscal 2021 and is projected to grow at a CAGR of 11-13% from fiscal 2022 till fiscal 2026 and reach a value of Rs. 15,300 – 15,400 billion. During this period, the exports are expected to grow at a CAGR of 9-11% and domestic industry to grow at slightly higher pace of 13-15%.

The size of the cotton yarn industry is expected to increase to Rs 905-910 billion in fiscal 2022 from Rs 690 billion in the fiscal 2021 and phenomenal growth in cotton yarn exports was on the back of global recovery as the impact of the second wave of the pandemic was less severe compared with the first wave. Downstream demand from domestic RMG is expected to be hit severely by the pandemic. In addition, the US’ ban on Xinjiang (China)-based cotton and derived products led to increase in export demand for cotton fabric, RMG and home textiles.

After China and the EU, India is the world's third-largest exporter of textiles in the world in 2020 as it has the highest acreage for cotton compared with the other major cotton-producing nations with 13.4 million hectares in cotton season. Global brands and retailers have started expanding their manufacturing horizon outside of China as during the pandemic, many countries across the globe realized the consequences of over-reliance on a single source in the manufacturing sector and India stands out to be attractive option in terms of labour costs, ease of doing business and skilled workforce, along with incentives provided by the Government of India, such as the production-linked incentive (PLI) scheme offering Rs 10,863 crore to the synthetic or man-made fiber (MMF) to propel exports and increase production to cater additional demand.

·         Share of Mutual Funds in AUM increased from 54% to 58% during 9 months Apr-Dec, 2021.

·         Number of RMs increased from 233 as on 31^st March 21 to 253 as on 31^st Dec 21.

 

Digital Wealth (PW) Vertical:

·         AUM increased by 38% YoY to Rs. 823 Crores.

·         Number of Client Engagement Partners (CEPs) increased to 319 with 3,541 active clients.

 

Omni Financial Advisors (“OFA”) Vertical:

 

·         As on December 31, 2021, No of subscribed IFAs were 5,164 and it has retained its leadership in this segment. Assets under Administration (AuA) on this platform as on December 31, 2021 was Rs. 84,500 Crores.
