The Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India inaugurated “LIC Digi Zone” to enhance the Digital Operations of LIC i.e. sales and services for its customers. It was inaugurated at the hands of LIC Chairperson Shri. M.R. Kumar, in the presence of Managing Directors –              Shri Raj Kumar, Shri Siddhartha Mohanty, Shri B C Patnaik and Shri C. Vikas Rao, Zonal Manager, Western Zone and other senior officials of the Corporation, on 29th December 2021.

With an intention to become a tech driven life insurer, LIC will offer information regarding LIC products and services through kiosks installed in the premises. Customers can use LIC’s Digi Zone to buy policies online, pay premium and avail other services as well. Soon after the inauguration, the operation went live by walk-in customers who made digital transactions in the new “LIC Digi Zone”.

Specialty chemical company, Aether Industries, which started its operations with R&D activities in Fiscal 2013 and went on to commercially launch its products in Fiscal 2017, is eyeing to raise money from the primary market as the Company has filed draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) with the capital markets regulator SEBI. The initial public offering (IPO) consists of a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating to Rs. 757 Crores, and an offer for sale of up to 2,751,000 equity shares, according to the DRHP. As per market participants, the company is expected raise Rs. 1000 Crores. The company in consultation with lead managers may also consider raising Rs. 131 Crores by issuing equity shares through a preferential offer, prior to filing of the DRHP. The Surat based company recently raised over Rs. 100 crore from White Oak Capital and IIFL in a pre-IPO round.

Aether Industries Limited is a speciality chemical manufacturer in India focused on producing advanced intermediates and speciality chemicals involving complex and differentiated chemistry and technology core competencies. प्रेक्षकांना पोट धरून हसायला लावणारा हा चित्रपट ११ फेब्रुवारीला होणार प्रदर्शित 


नवीन वर्षाची सुरुवात यंदा एकदम दणक्यात होणार आहे. कारणच तसे आहे. अंकुश चौधरी, सिद्धार्थ जाधव, वैदेही परशुरामी आणि सयाजी शिंदे अशी तगडी स्टारकास्ट असलेला ‘लोच्या झाला रे’ हा धमाकेदार विनोदी कौटुंबिक चित्रपट प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला येत आहे. सुरेश जयराम यांच्या नाटकावर आधारित या चित्रपटाचे पोस्टर नुकतेच सोशल मीडियावर प्रदर्शित झाले असून पोस्टर पाहून हा एक तुफान विनोदी चित्रपट असेल असे दिसतेय. आता कोणामुळे कोणाच्या आयुष्यात लोच्या झाला आहे, हे मात्र चित्रपट पाहिल्यावरच कळेल. मुळात हे चारही कलाकार एकत्र पहिल्यांदाच मोठ्या पडद्यावर दिसणार आहेत.  त्यामुळे हा चित्रपट प्रेक्षकांना पोट धरून हसायला लावणार हे मात्र नक्की!


'लोच्या झाला रे' या चित्रपटाचे दिग्दर्शन परितोष पेंटर आणि रवी अधिकारी यांनी केले आहे. परितोष पेंटर यांनी यापूर्वी धमाल, टोचल धमाल अशा बॅालिवूडच्या चित्रपटांचे लेखन केले आहे.  ‘लोच्या झाला रे’चे छायाचित्रण संजय मेमाणे यांचे असून ज्यांनी आधी झिम्मा, हिरकणी, हाफ तिकीट सारख्या सुपरहिट चित्रपटांच्या छायाचित्रणाची धुरा सांभाळली होती. या चित्रपटाची निर्मिती नवीन चंद्रा , नितीन केणी , परितोष पेंटर व शांताराम मनवे यांनी केली आहे तर मंगेश रामचंद्र जगताप कार्यकारी निर्माता आहेत. लंडनमध्ये चित्रित झालेला हा चित्रपट 'मुंबई मुव्ही स्टुडिओ प्रस्तुत आयडिया दि एंटरटेनमेंट कंपनी आणि अभिनय मुंबई प्रोडक्शन' अंतर्गत बनवण्यात आला असून वितरणाचे काम यूएफओ मुव्हिझने पाहिले आहे. यात विजय पाटकर, प्रसाद खांडेकर आणि रेशम टीपणीस यांच्याही प्रमुख भूमिका आहेत.

Capillary Technologies (India) Limited, a company that offers artificial intelligence (“AI”)-based cloud-native Software-as-aSolution (“SaaS”) products and solutions to develop loyalty of their consumers and channel partners filed its draft red herring prospectus (DRHP) for its Rs 850 crore initial public offering (IPO).

The initial public offering (IPO) with a face value of Rs 2 per equity share consists of a fresh issue of equity shares aggregating to Rs 200 crore, and an offer for sale of Rs 650 crore by Capillary Technologies International Pte Ltd (The Selling Shareholders”), according to the draft red herring prospectus (DRHP).

Backed by Warburg Pincus, Sequoia Capital, Avataar Capital, Qualcomm Asia Pacific and Filter Capital. The private equity firms stay invested in the company and are not diluting their stake in this IPO.

Additionally, the company, in consultation with the lead bankers to the issue may consider a further issue of equity shares including a private placement aggregating up to Rs 20 crore. If such placement is completed, the fresh issue size will be reduced.

The proceeds from its fresh issuance worth Rs 42 crore will be utilised for the repayment or prepayment of borrowings, in full or part of all or certain borrowings for the company; Rs 72 crore for investment in product development, investments in technology and other growth initiatives; Rs 30 crore for strategic investments and acquisitions and general corporate purposes.

The Bengaluru-based company are the market leader in Asia-Pacific region with a 39% market share in terms of loyalty management capabilities for the year 2020, based on the geographies in which it operates.

Founded in 2012 by Aneesh Reddy Boddu and Krishna Mehra, having a diversified product suite and technology platform allowing its customers to run end-to-end loyalty programs, to get a comprehensive view of consumers and offer unified, cross-channel strategies that deliver a real-time omnichannel, personalized, and consistent experience for consumers. According to Zinnov Report, it is the only company from Asia to be featured in the Forrester NowTech Loyalty Report and have been recognized as a leading vendor of hybrid loyalty solutions. 

The company served more than 250 brands across more than 30 countries across India, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, United States, and China as of October 31, 2021. Its customers and brands are diversified across verticals and jurisdictions that include businesses engaged in apparel, footwear, supermarkets, conglomerates, manufacturing and electronics, pharmacy and wellness, fine dining and QSR, luxury and jewelry, entertainment, travel and hospitality.

In Fiscal 2016 and Fiscal 2017, the promoter acquired Reasoning Global Eapplications Private Limited for their product, Martjack (rebranded as Anywhere Commerce+) and Sellerworx, respectively, which formed the base of Anywhere Commerce+ platform business. In September, it acquired Minneapolis-based customer experience company Persuade in its first US acquisition and fourth globally. Its potential competitors include mid-market independent software vendors such as TADA, COMO, and technology giants such as Oracle and SAP.

For fiscal 2021 and in the three months’ period ended June 30, 2021, it completed 8.07 million and 2.07 million transactions from its customers across India, Middle East and South East Asia with brands includes ASICS, Indian Terrain Fashions Limited, Apollo Medsmart, TTK Prestige, BIBA and Fossil.

The Asia Pacific loyalty management market is estimated to be Rs 229 billion or US$ 3 billion in 2021 and is expected to reach Rs 400 billion or US$ 5 billion by 2024, projecting a significant growth of 20%. Focusing on its go-to-market strategy in Asia, and with an intention to tap the untapped potential in the enterprise market in Asia to its existing large enterprises such as Tata, Jotun, Shell, Petron, Aditya Birla Fashion Limited and Al-Futtaim, to expand its New ARR and business.

The company’s revenue from operations stood at Rs 114.9 crore for the fiscal 2021, while its net profit was Rs 16.94 crore for the same period. For the quarter ending June 2021, revenue from operations was Rs 33.16 crore and net profit was Rs 2.53 crore.

ICICI Securities Limited, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, and Nomura Financial Advisory and Securities (India) Private Limited are the book running lead managers to the issue.

Canara Bank raises Rs 2500 crore in Basel III-compliant Tier II bonds 2021-22

Bengaluru, 24 December 2021: Canara Bank has raised Rs 2,500 crore in Basel III-Compliant Tier II  bonds, at a coupon rate of 7.09% per annum.

The issue received overwhelming response from investors, with bids for more than Rs 9,374 crore against a base issue size of Rs 1000 crore and green shoe option of Rs. 1500 crore. Based  on  the  response, the  Bank has  decided   to   accept Rs 2,500 crore at a coupon rate of 7.09% per annum.

The said Tier II bonds are issued with tenor of 15 years. However, it can be called back by the issuer after ten years or any anniversary date thereafter.

The Bank’s Tier II bonds are rated AAA by CARE Ratings and India Ratings & Research Ltd.

This is the first Tier II bond issuance of the Bank for the financial year 2021-22. During Q3 2021 -22, Bank has  raised  Basel  III  Compliant  Additional  Tier  I  bonds  of Rs. 3,000 crore.

Mumbai, December 24, 2021: Data Patterns (India) Limited (the “Company”), a vertically integrated defence and aerospace electronics solutions provider catering to the indigenously developed defence products industry, listed on the NSE at Rs 856.05 at 46.33% premium over its issue price. The scrip got listed at BSE at Rs 864 per share, a 47.69% per cent premium over its issue price of Rs 585. The shares of the company at day end closed at Rs. 754.85 per share on BSE and at Rs 750.50 per share on NSE. The initial public offering was offered at a lower price band of Rs 555 per share and higher price band of Rs 585 per equity share.

As per BSE, the total quantity traded stood at 10.44 lakh shares with a delivery quantity percentage of 43.95%. Total Quantity traded at NSE stood at 134.92 lakh shares with a delivery quantity percentage of 33.60%. Total Turnover (BSE+NSE) on Day 1 stood at Rs 1167.92 crore.

The public issue comprises a fresh issue of Rs 240 crore and an offer for sale of 59,52,550 equity shares by promoter and individual selling shareholders and the issue was closed on 16th December 2021. The portion reserved for retail investors was subscribed 23.14 times. While the Qualified Institutional Buyer category was subscribed 190.86 times, the Non-Institutional Investor category was subscribed 254.22 times. Overall the issue was subscribed 119.62 times.

JM Financial Limited, IIFL Securities Limited were the book running lead managers to the issue.

C.E Info Systems stock makes stellar market debut, closes 38% premium to the issue price

Mumbai, December 21, 2021:  C.E Info Systems Limited (the “Company”), a fast growing SaaS technology company catering to 500 marquee customers across Consumer Tech, Auto OEMs, enterprises across private & public sector, listed on the NSE at Rs 1565 at 51.50% premium over its issue price. The scrip got listed at BSE at Rs 1581 per share, a 53.05% per cent premium over its issue price of Rs 1033. The shares of the company at day end closed at Rs.1394.55 per share on BSE and at Rs 1375 per share on NSE. The initial public offering was offered at a lower price band of Rs 1000 per share and higher price band of Rs 1033 per equity share.


As per BSE, the total quantity traded stood at 11.41 lakh shares with a delivery quantity percentage of 40.62%. Total Quantity traded at NSE stood at 126.97 lakh shares with a delivery quantity percentage of 33.02%. Total Turnover (BSE+NSE) on Day 1 stood at Rs 2052.8 crore.

The portion reserved for retail investors was subscribed 15.20 times. While the Qualified Institutional Buyer category was subscribed 196.36 times, the Non-Institutional Investor category was subscribed 424.69 times. Overall the issue was subscribed 154.71 times.


Axis Capital Limited, JM Financial Limited, Kotak Mahindra Capital Company Limited, and DAM Capital Advisors Limited are the book running lead managers to the issue.

Mumbai, December 17, 2021: Government of India’s Ministry of Road Transport & Highways, IIT Madras and MapmyIndia, India's leading digital data and technology products and platforms company for maps, geospatial and location-based IoT, today signed an MoU for collaboration on driver and road safety technologies, and jointly launched India’s best and FREE-TO-USE navigation app service for all 130+ crore Indians.

 

The MapmyIndia app, enhanced with the support of MoRTH and IIT Madras, provides road safety alerts to users about upcoming accident hazards while driving. By using this navigation app, users will get voice and visual alerts about upcoming accident-prone zones, speed breakers, sharp curves, potholes etc, to ensure they can drive carefully and avoid accidents. Further through the app, users and authorities can also report and broadcast accidents, unsafe areas, road and traffic issues on the map to help benefit other users, which will be analysed by IIT Madras and MapmyIndia and will then be used by the Government of India to improve road conditions in future.

 

The MapmyIndia, which won the Government of India’s Attmanirbhar App Innovation Challenge in 2020, additionally offers a myriad of mapping, navigation, safety and hyper-local features to help users in their day to day lives as they move around their city or across the country. The collaboration between MoRTH, IIT Madras and MapmyIndia represents the best of the public sector, academia and private sector coming together to offer a world-class, locally relevant, indigenous solution  

 

This is a truly Aatmanirbhar, Sarvottam Bharat initiative, and all Indians are encouraged to download and use the MapmyIndia app, and take benefit of these enhanced navigation and road safety alerts while driving. काही दिवसांपासून सोशल मीडियावर ‘मी लिपस्टिकचे समर्थन करत नाही’ असे म्हणत अभिनेत्री आपली लिपस्टिक पुसत  ‘बॅन लिपस्टिक’चा संदेश देत होत्या. हे नक्की काय प्रकरण आहे, याची सर्वत्र चर्चा रंगली होती. अभिनेत्रींच्या या अशा व्हिडीओमुळे लोकांच्या मनात संभ्रम आणि उत्सुकता निर्माण झाली होती. लोकांच्या मनात अनेक प्रश्न होते. अखेर या प्रश्नाचा उलगडा झाला असून त्याचे कारण आपल्या समोर आले आहे. संजय जाधव दिग्दर्शित 'अनुराधा' ही ७ भागांची वेबसिरीज 'प्लॅनेट मराठी ओटीटी', व्हिस्टास मीडिया कॅपिटलवर प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला आली आहे आणि त्याच्याच प्रमोशनचा हा एक भाग होता. या वेबसीरिजमध्ये तेजस्विनी पंडित, सोनाली खरे, सुकन्या कुलकर्णी मोने, सचित पाटील, सुशांत शेलार, विद्याधर जोशी, स्नेहलता वसईकर, संजय खापरे, आस्ताद काळे, विजय आंदळकर, चिन्मय शिंत्रे, वृषाली चव्हाण यांच्या प्रमुख भूमिका आहेत. आता या सर्व अभिनेत्री लिपस्टिकचे समर्थन का करत नाही, लिपस्टिकचा आणि या वेबसिरीजचा काय संबंध, या आणि अशा अनेक प्रश्नांची उत्तरे या वेबसिरीजमध्ये दडलेली आहेत. नुकताच या वेबसिरीजच्या पोस्टर आणि टिझर प्रदर्शनाचा कार्यक्रम पार पडला. टिझरमध्ये तेजस्विनीचा बोल्ड अंदाज दिसत असून तिच्या वेगवेगळ्या व्यक्तिरेखा दिसत आहेत. हे रहस्य काय आहे, हे लवकरच आपल्या समोर येईल. 



    ‘अनुराधा’च्या निमित्ताने संजय जाधव वेबसीरिजच्या विश्वात पदार्पण करत असून हिरालाल दाफडा आणि आकाश दाफडा यांनी निर्मितीची धुरा सांभाळली आहे. या वेबसीरिजचे लेखन संजय जाधव, वैभव चिंचळकर यांचे असून पंकज पडघम यांचे संगीत लाभले आहे. तर संकलनाचे काम अपूर्वा मोतीवाले सहाय यांनी पाहिले असून कला दिग्दर्शक सतीश चिपकर आहेत. 


आपल्या या पहिल्या प्रोजेक्टबाबत दिग्दर्शक संजय जाधव म्हणतात, ‘’ आजवर अनेक चित्रपट केले आहेत प्रथमच वेबसीरिज करत आहे. त्यामुळे प्रेक्षकांचा प्रतिसाद कसा मिळतो, यासाठी उत्सुकही आहे. एकंदरच संमिश्र मनःस्थिती आहे. आनंद या गोष्टीचा आहे की माझ्या आवडत्या टीमसोबत मी नवीन प्रोजेक्ट करतोय. आशा आहे प्रेक्षकांना माझा हा नवा प्रयत्न नक्कीच आवडेल.’’


'अनुराधा' वेबसिरीजबाबत 'प्लॅनेट मराठी ओटीटी'चे प्रमुख, संस्थापक अक्षय बर्दापूरकर म्हणतात, '' ही वेबसिरीज थोडीशी वेगळी आहे. याचा जॉनर सस्पेंस आणि थ्रिलर असून संजय जाधव सारख्या कसलेल्या दिग्दर्शकाने याचे दिग्दर्शन केले आहे. यातील नाट्यथरार प्रेक्षकांना स्तब्ध करणारा असून अतिशय वेगळ्या पद्धतीने याचे प्रमोशन करण्यात आले आहे. त्यामुळे प्रेक्षकांना या वेबसिरीजमध्ये नक्की काय पाहायला मिळणार याची उत्सुकता निर्माण झाली. या वेबसिरीजमध्ये  लिपस्टिकची नक्की काय भूमिका आहे, यासाठी प्रेक्षकांना प्लॅनेट मराठी ओटीटीवर ही वेबसिरीज पाहावी लागेल. अशा अनेक नवनवीन आणि उत्तमोत्तम वेबसिरीज आम्ही प्रेक्षकांसाठी आगामी काळात घेऊन येणार आहोत.''

शिवाजी पार्कमध्ये रंगला 'फ्रि हिट दणका'चा क्रिकेट सामना 


खेळाडूंची धावपळ... चौकार... षटकार... अटीतटीचा सामना...प्रेक्षकांमध्ये कोण जिंकणार याची उत्सुकता... तुम्हाला सर्वांनाच प्रश्न पडला असेल ना की, ही क्रिकेटची मॅच नक्की कुठे सुरु आहे. तर ही मॅच रंगली होती दादरच्या शिवाजी पार्कच्या मैदानात. 'फ्रि हिट दणका'ची टीम विरुद्ध मीडिया आणि शिवाजी पार्क मैदानातील खेळाडू. या अटीतटीच्या सामन्यात अखेर 'फ्रि हिट दणका'ने आपला दणका दाखवलाच. इतक्या दिवसांची मेहनत अखेर फळाला आली. या क्रिकेटच्या  सामन्यात 'फॅन्ड्री' फेम सोमनाथ अवघडे, अपूर्वा एस., 'सैराट' चित्रपटातील सुपरहिट जोडी अरबाज शेख(सल्या) आणि तानाजी गालगुंडे(लंगड्या) हरीश थोरात, सुनील मगरे यांच्यासह अनेकांनी या मॅचमध्ये सहभाग घेतला होता. विशेष म्हणजे विजेत्यांचे कौतुक करण्याबरोबरच या सामन्यात सहभागी झालेल्या शिवाजी पार्कमधील क्रिकेटप्रेमींनाही यावेळी क्रिकेट किट देऊन गौरवण्यात आले. 


या क्रिकेट मॅचच्या निमित्ताने सोमनाथ अवघडेने एक किस्सा शेअर केला आहे. मुळात हा चित्रपट क्रिकेटवर आधारित असल्याने क्रिकेटमधील अनेक बारकावे लक्षात घेणे खूप महत्वाचे होते. एरव्ही क्रिकेट खेळणे आणि रीतसर पद्धतीने क्रिकेट खेळणे यात खूप फरक आहे. जरीही तो अभिनय असला तरीही कुठेही तो अनैसर्गिक वाटू नये, यासाठी सोमनाथने खूप मेहनत घेतली आहे. त्याने सतत क्रिकेटचा सराव केला. व्हिडिओज बघितले. मिळेल त्या वेळात तो क्रिकेटचा सराव करायचा. एकदा अशीच सरावादरम्यान त्याला गंभीर दुखापतही झाली. मात्र त्याकडे दुर्लक्ष करत त्याने सराव केला आणि त्याच परिस्थितीत  चित्रीकरणही पूर्ण केले. या दुखापतीचा त्याच्या चेहऱ्यावर कुठेही लवलेशही दिसला नाही. त्याची ही मेहनत प्रेक्षकांना 'फ्री हिट दणका'मध्ये दिसेलच. 


एसजीएम फिल्म्स प्रस्तुत 'फ्री हिट दणका' १७ डिसेंबर रोजी प्रेक्षकांच्या भेटीला येत आहे. चित्रपटाचे दिग्दर्शन, कथा आणि पटकथा सुनील मगरे यांची असून लेखन आणि संवाद संजय नवगीरे यांचे आहेत. आकाश अलका बापू ठोंबरे, मेघनाथ गुरुनाथ सोरखडे आणि सुनिल मगरे निर्मित या चित्रपटाचे नितीन बापू खरात, सुधाकर लोखंडे सहनिर्माता आहेत.

Mumbai/Chennai, December 09, 2021: Data Patterns (India) Limited, vertically integrated defence and aerospace electronics solutions provider catering to the indigenously developed defence products industry is proposing to open the Bid/Offer Period in relation to its initial public offering of Equity Shares (the “Offer”) on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. The Bid/Offer Period will close on Thursday, December 16, 2021. The Price Band for the Offer has been fixed at ₹ 555 – ₹ 585 per Equity Share.

The public issue comprises a fresh issue of Rs 240 crore and an offer for sale of 59,52,550 equity shares by Selling Shareholders. The OFS includes sale of up to 19,67,013 equity shares by Srnivasagopalan Rangarajan, up to 19,67,012 equity shares by Rekha Murthy Rangarajan, up to 75,000 equity shares by Sudhir Nathan, up to 4,14,775 equity shares by G.K. Vasundhara and up to 15,28,750 equity shares by existing shareholders.

Florintree backed defence and aerospace electronics company has undertaken a pre-IPO placement of 10,39,861 equity shares aggregating for up to Rs 60 crore. The company intends to utilise net proceeds from the fresh issue to the extent of Rs 60.80 crore for prepayment / repayment of certain outstanding borrowings availed by the Company, Rs 95.19 crore for funding its working capital requirements, Rs 59.84 crore for upgrading and expansion of its existing facilities at Chennai and general corporate purposes.

Data Patterns has a net profitability growth of approximately 164% between Fiscal 2020 and Fiscal 2021 and is one of the fastest-growing companies in the Defence and Aerospace Electronics sector in India.  Its core competencies include electronic hardware design and development, software design and development, firmware design and development, mechanical design and development, product prototype design and development, manufacturing, functional testing and validation, environment testing and verification, and after sales support engineering services.

The Company, in consultation with BRLM’s to the Offer, considered participation by Anchor Investors in accordance with the SEBI ICDR Regulations, whose participation shall be one Working Day prior to the Bid/Offer Opening Date, i.e. Monday, December 13, 2021. The Offer is being made in terms of Rule 19(2)(b) of the Securities Contracts (Regulation) Rules, 1957, as amended read with Regulation 31 of the SEBI ICDR Regulations. The Offer is being made through the Book Building Process, in terms of Regulation 6(1) of the SEBI ICDR Regulations, wherein not more than 50% of the Offer shall be available for allocation to Qualified Institutional Buyers, not less than 15% of the Offer shall be available for allocation on a proportionate basis to Non-Institutional Investors and not less than 35% of the Offer shall be available for allocation to Retail Individual Bidders.
